Mitsuki: Aah, I’m really tired….. But I’m not at 100% yet. Dammit.

Yamato: Haha. Our whole atmosphere really does feel different when you’re energetic.

Mitsuki: Hm? What now?

Yamato: You were actually worried about it, weren’t you?

Mitsuki: ……….

Mitsuki: No, not really……. I’m used to rejection and being at the bottom!

Yamato: We’re glad you’re here with us. That’s what everyone thinks.

Mitsuki: …….ah……

Mitsuki: A…….., aaaaah, crap! There’s something like water coming out of my eye–

Yamato: Ahaha. I—diot.

Mitsuki: Ahahaha! I’m an idio—t! ……., Ahaha…..

Mitsuki: Haa……. ….I absolutely want it to come true……

Mitsuki: …..I want it to come true, God…….

Nagi: …….this is where the legend was born……

Nagi: Haruki……I never thought I would feel so much empathy toward them.

Nagi: Please cast your magic one more time……

Nagi: Give us the power, to bring forth a miracle……

Riku: ……….

Ten: Thank you for coming out in the rain! Don’t worry! With everyone’s support, I’m sure the sky will clear up!

Ten: Cast a spell with us!

Ten: A special spell, that could put a rainbow in the night sky!

Riku: ……Ten-nii……

SFX: Knock knock

Iori: Are you watching TRIGGER’s concert videos again?

Riku: Ah……

Iori: You don’t need to watch something like this anymore.

Iori: Don’t chase after Kujou Ten’s shadow anymore. Please sing your own song, Nanase-san.

Iori: I will absolutely make you into a superstar.

Riku: ……you will?

Iori: ………. With Manager. Or well, it’s mostly Manager’s work.

Riku: No, I know that, but…….

Iori: As long as we have your singing ability, I’m sure we can produce results that will please the president.

Iori: Even if you don’t believe in me, at least believe in my management ability…..no, my analytical power.

Riku: ……….

Riku: I’m sure Ten-nii will come to Music Festa as well……

Riku: ……I thought I should muster some courage, and try to meet with him……

Iori: What? Are you an idiot? Don’t raise a stress flag yourself. (1)

Riku: I-it might not be stressful, you know! It could be a moving reunion. Ten-nii was originally kind……

Iori: A kind person wouldn’t exactly abandon their bankrupt parents and sick brother, would they?

Riku: Wai…..! Don’t rub salt in my wounds so bluntly! (2)

Iori: Better than you being cut to pieces before the real performance. Here, your inhaler. It’s there if you need it.

Riku: Y-you little……

Iori: You’re the type to step on landmines yourself even if you know where they are, so please don’t come out of the waiting room that day.

Riku: But……

Iori: Nii-san, it’s been a while! It’s me, Riku!

Iori: What? Who are you again?

Iori: N-no way….! Uuh, an attack……

Iori: I’ve simulated how things will go that day. Do you still have any doubts?

Riku: Dammit, how annoying…..!

Iori: Which is more important to you. Your brother…..or IDOLiSH7?

Riku: …….there’s no question in my mind!

Iori: In that case, be patient.

Riku: …… Alright……

Tsumugi: –And the day of Music Festa approached.

Tsumugi: It was the first time we went to a TV studio. Normally, everyone probably would have been in high spirits.

Tsumugi: However, everyone put their full concentration into their own song, as if not even seeing the celebrities around them.

(1) Pretty sure this was originally from gaming. But flags are like set conditions that determine how any character will end up, like in a game or anime. An obvious one is having a character saying “I absolutely won’t die!” which is a flag for their eventual death. Another flag is…last chapter, iirc. Iori’s “Ab——-solutely don’t fail, Nanase-san” is actually a flag for Iori’s own failure at MuFes! (Iori: “at least believe in my analytical power” me: “you over-analyzed things at mufes and failed”; iori: “absolutely don’t leave the waiting room” me: “THAT’S THE REASON RIKU HAD AN ATTACK IN THE FIRST PLACE” ……honestly this whole conversation is full of flags)

(2) The literal is “don’t attack the wounds in my heart so straight-forward” but I feel like rubbing salt into wounds is a pretty appropriate English phrase.
