Sogo Osaka (
Having grown up in a household that seemed to value pecking order and absolutes, Sogo doesn’t often let his own desires be known to others and represses how he feels for fear of otherwise causing trouble for the other members. A lot of these repressions–especially something akin to a fear of being abandoned, which may be a result of his uncle passing away. Sogo is also very aware of the ages of the group–he has held his age over Tamaki previously, and also very regularly goes to the older members for advice.
Sogo was a university student before he became an idol. He was walking around town one day when Otoharu Takanashi called out to him. Sogo mentions that he usually turns down those sorts of invitations straight away, but he somehow ended up talking to Otoharu at a coffee shop, because he was very persuasive and Sogo’s weak to pressure. And at some point in their conversation, Sogo realized that he wanted a life that he could choose for himself rather than one that someone else had prepared for him, and he decided to join Takanashi Production.[1]
