Japanese / Kanji Lyrics | Romanized Lyrics | English Translation |
想像の(向こうへ) 走りだせ…Alive |
Souzou no (mukou e) hashiridase... Alive |
Start running (beyond) Your imagination… Alive |
腹の底から欲しいモンなら いっそ |
Hara no soko kara hoshii mon nara isso |
If you desire something from the bottom of your heart Translator Notes: If we want to be super literal, 腹の底 more or less means "from the bottom of your gut",
but that's the Japanese equivalent expression of "from the bottom of your heart". Risk your life and dive in |
(Hey man!) 心の糸 |
(Hey man!) Kokoro no ito |
(Hey man!) Take the strings of your heart |
キミが最初の目撃者になる |
Kimi ga saisho no mokugekisha ni naru |
You’ll be the first witness Translator Notes: 目撃者 and 証言者 both mean "witness",
but the first is more "the witness who sees the event that takes place" and the second is more "the witness who will present proofs". Our pounding pulses are Heavenly |
戯れ合うだけの関係のままじゃ |
Jareau dake no kankei no mama ja |
If we are only connected by just frolicking about Translator Notes: 熱さ literally means "heat (of something)",
but in this case I think it figuratively means passion. Literal translation for "passion" would be 情熱 or 感動. |
(Hey now!) 膝を抱えた昨日の自分はいない |
(Hey now!) Hiza o kakaeta kinou no jibun wa inai |
(Hey now!) That you from yesterday with arms wrapped around your knees are no longer here Translator Notes: 自分 is "one's own self".
(Hey now!) For you are hesitating under a dazzling light now It can be anyone's self, but in this context it's very likely referring to "you". I'm not sure how to convey it in the translation, so I'm open for suggestions! Translator Notes: 自分 is "one's own self".

キミが最初の証言者になる |
Kimi ga saisho no shougensha ni naru |
You’ll be the first to prove it Translator Notes: 目撃者 and 証言者 both mean "witness",
Let's admit that there can only be but the first is more "the witness who sees the event that takes place" and the second is more "the witness who will present proofs". Translator Notes: It’s actually “The one (similar to the pronoun[?] “one”) who can change the world
is only one (quantity), let's admit it” but it sounds so redundant so I combine these two lines. The first “one” isn’t specified anyway; it can be a person, a thing, a group of people, or a group of things, and it’s hard to decide here. Who knows. One who can change the world |
与えられし命が(今日も) |
Ataerareshi inochi ga (Kyou mo) |
The life that you’ve bestowed upon me (even today) |
「会いたかったよ。」 |
"Aitakatta yo." |
“I wanted to meet you.” |
